The Shamar system of Martial Arts is a new and dynamic form of martial arts that is focused primarily on function over form.  Following a strict code based on testing and a willingness to look for sound defense methods from anywhere and any style Shamar has become quite diverse in the arts from which it draws its baseline techniques.

What stands at the core of the systems technical base is a love for science.  Through a vast array of styles Shamar draws out the fundamental elements that hold up against good physics and combat science.  Also at the heart of the Shamar system is a dedication to constant evolution staying functional with modern times and modern combat scenarios.

Although the Shamar system is not a religous group of any kind the founders of the system do share in a single specific faith.  That faith is the most primary and dominant aspect of their lives and has definitively shaped the Shamar system from the inside out as well as serve as the moral code upon which the system was built.

The Shamar system does not go by the tradional ranking systems and titles found in most martial arts.  Shamar is more concerned with the individual member's progress and life as a whole over any system or style.

Finally, the Shamar system of Martial Arts is ultimately a private training group and retains the right to allow, reject or expel any person for any reason at any time with or without notice.  Time is a most precious commodity and training together is a high privilege to be guarded and respected.
